If you are looking for someone that truly cares about you, your wants, and whats best for your little one Emily is your girl!!!

Emily was recommended to us by our previous doula whom we had used with our first daughter. From the very first time we met both my husband and myself felt very comfortable with her. She was very down to earth and knowledgable, but more than anything really cared about getting to know us and what was most important to us in regards to our birth experience.

With my first daughter we had to be induced and thankfully we were able to make it through without pain meds, but needless to say it was a battle and I knew that if we had to have the same experience again I needed someone I trusted that would comfort me, but also kick my butt into gear when it mattered most and I really felt that Emily had the ying and the yang I was looking for.

Once the day finally came; over a week late, we headed to the hospital for a scheduled induction. Thankfully the doctor broke my water and that kicked things into gear fast so pitocin was not needed this time. We knew things were going to progress fast so Emily came to the hospital and right away soothed myself and my husband. She was so nurturing, but also strong and able to help me through the most challenging portion of labor. Even when I thought I didn’t know how much more I could take Emily reassured me that the end was almost near and I was finally having the labor I wanted. It gave me the last little bit of strength I needed to bring our little one earthside the way we had intended.

I cannot recommend Emily enough. If you are looking for someone that truly cares about you, your wants, and whats best for your little one Emily is your girl!!!
